Squam Lake

The Squam Lake community has always been about fostering a responsible balance of development and conservation.  This care and understanding of Squam's beauty and uniqueness lead to the conception of organizations such as the Squam Lakes Association and the Squam Lakes Conservation Society.  Organizations like the SLA and the SLCS have aimed to preserve the character of Squam Lake and the surrounding watershed so that it can be enjoyed by future generations just as it was in the past.

For the overall health of the community, some development and new construction is good; for the retention of value, both monetary and emotional, preserving the character of the lake has been vital.  Squam River Landing is a residential community designed to harmonize with the Squam Lake community.  Protecting the ridge line canopy, practicing low-impact building and encouraging buyers to find their shade of green are being done because small choices can add up to make a big difference.  It is our goal to harmonize Squam River Landing with the Squam Lake community by encouraging sustainable and responsible building practices while providing homes for people who will help enrich the area and enjoy all it has to offer.
