Discovery Home Construction: Foundation

The crew worked hard this past weekend to setup insulated foundation forms and get the concrete poured. Unlike a typical foundation which is composed of only concrete, the foundation of our discovery home uses Logix insulated concrete forms. The concrete is poured in between the foam forms which act as a thermal barrier for the entire foundation. The next step in the building process is framing so stay tuned!
